the poor and needy are watched by the eyes of Him Isaiah 41:16

"When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them."

Our heart is to reach to those that have been forgotten the orphans and widows, the outcasts of “me generation” here and abroad.  That we may reach to the poorest of the poor to cloth, shelter, feed and wash their feet. Let us put our bottle of water to HIS use partnering with our missionaries. Let us not be the “none” to quench their thirst, let us not forsake the POOR AND NEEDY. 

Whether here in our own back yard or continents away.  That we may work to develop deeper relationships with missionaries that will wipe the nose of a hurting child, or clean the filth of a rescue mission. Let us partner with missionaries who share and pour the love and grace of the Master into the heart of the outcasts the rejected, rebellious, the prodigal and the unwanted ones.

Home Grown Missionaries:

In Acts 13 we see the beginning of the missionary work set out from the Church of Antioch.  As these prophets and teachers, ministered to the LORD and fasted the HOLY SPIRIT said “Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 

Within our own Church family GOD has called some missionaries to HIS work and separated them for HIS service.  It is our goal to support them as broader and farther reaching arm from their own Church family as they fulfill the calling of Jesus Christ for their lives.

Trace Embry still calls LHC his home Church; we should be one of his largest supporters. 

Discipleship:

In Romans 1:5,6 the Apostle Paul clearly states that it is our calling to make disciples:
Rom. 1:5,6“By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for HIS name: among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ.”

It is our calling to support missionaries that have a deep and committed heart for building disciples. 

Support missionaries that have a heart to teach and train the next generations to become disciples of Jesus Christ and to replicate themselves.  These are the missionaries we endeavor to support with our money, and prayers.

It is our goal to build stronger, deeper, higher relationships with our missionaries, that share these core values of reaching the poor and needy the forgotten, those who strive to teach and develop deeper, higher and grounded disciples in the WORD of GOD, for the perfection of the saints. To leave no shadow of doubt in anyone within our Church family that if they are called to mission field that their Church family will be the first to support them.
