Good News. How we choose to define good news is up to us. To some, the good news is being able to go to a restaurant. To others, the good news is a negative test result. The ultimate Good News is the message of the Bible. It is the GOOD NEWS you can always trust and share with others. As the coronavirus gradually begins to decrease, we continue to celebrate what God is doing and tell of His goodness.
This past Sunday, David Gard, our chairman of the Elder Board and co-chairman of the pastoral search committee, shared an encouraging message from the book of Job and provided an update on the pastoral search.

“The Attitude of Gratitude” is our sermon series for May. LHC will be showing gratitude to teachers, moms, missionaries, mail carriers, healthcare workers, and first responders. This coming Sunday, our website, www.lhcweb.org, will include a webpage specifically designed to help you and your family, send e-cards, print cards and coloring pages(for the kids) and make social media posts, honoring these servants. This Sunday is Teacher Appreciation Sunday, so be sure to invite any teachers you know to our online service.
Parents, our heart is to connect with your children and teen, especially in this season. Our children’s and youth Pastors have put available resources on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. During this unprecedented time, many of you have continued to connect with the Living Hope community by way of ZOOM. This technology has proven to be a valuable tool to help us continue to do life TOGETHER. Just a reminder that every Wednesday night, at 6:30 pm, there is an online ZOOM meeting on Prophecy taught by Sharon Wachowiak. If you are interested in getting connected with this group, contact Sharon at firstname.lastname@example.org. Starting next Wednesday, May 5th, at 7:00 pm, Pastor Stefanie Towne will be leading a new 6-week Bible study just for moms, called “BECOMING MOMSTRONG.” The group will meet via ZOOM. The book “Becoming MomStrong” by Heidi St. Johnis is available on Amazon, but not a required purchase. To connect with this group, contact Stefanie at stefanie.towne@LHCweb.org.
Looking forward to celebrating the month of May with Living Hope Church online.
