“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39
These encouraging words remind us that God is faithful, and He is always there for us. As we continue to navigate the uncertain season of COVID-19, be assured that God is for us and will always be a constant even when the world around us may not feel like it is.
This Sunday will be our first live service since the beginning of the pandemic. We celebrate our progress and are confident that this, too, shall pass. Keep the Sunday service in prayer as well as the safety of all of our volunteers, congregation, and staff. If you would like to attend the live service, please review our standards for attending and reserve your seats. Our services continue to be accessible online for those who enjoy watching from the convenience of home. Whether you worship with us in person or online, we are ONE CHURCH. As restrictions change and we adjust to a ‘new norm,’ we look forward to seeing more of you in person., In the meantime, please continue to be safe and healthy.
Our Attitude of Gratitude series continues this Sunday at 10:30 am, with a message from our Missions Pastor, Christian Rath. We are honoring missionaries and postal carriers this week. Our website offers a variety of e-cards, social media posts, or other forms of gratitude to download and send. If you plan to attend the Sunday service in person, don’t forget to make your reservation and bring your mask. If you don’t have one, we are happy to provide one for you.
This Saturday is our weekly Facebook LIVE prayer meeting. Cindy Sheehy leads a time of prayer for needs as well as praying for our nation and church. If you have any prayer requests you’d like prayed for online or privately, you can send them to prayer@LHCweb.org. Join us at 9:00 am for our online prayer meeting.
