A Thursday Update from Living Hope Church

CATEGORY: News

“Yes, indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law.” – James 2:8-9 (NLT)

As we strive to LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE, we must remember that we are to love all people. If you are genuinely going to love all, then you must guard your heart not to show favor. It doesn’t mean you can’t have close friends or people in your life that you spend more time with than others; however, you should treat every person you meet with the same love and respect just as Jesus would.

This Sunday, we are honoring our 2020 graduates, and Pastor Bryan Hart will share a special message. We look forward to seeing you in person, and online this Sunday at 10:30 am. You can watch here, on our LHC app, and on Facebook. Our safety standards for attending a live service are listed on our website, along with our seat reservation link. A special Thank You to our friends at the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra for your generosity in providing our reservation system. You can get details on these standards or make your reservation for Sunday here.

Join us on Facebook LIVE Saturday at 9 am for our online Prayer Meeting. The online prayer meeting includes prayer for requests, our nation, health, and other needs. If you have any prayer requests you’d like prayed for online or privately, you can send them to prayer@LHCweb.org.

Please mark your calendar for Sunday, July 5th, for our Independence Celebration. Our church will celebrate this special day as a church family with a fun night of food and fireworks.

We are working diligently to re-connect with our children and youth in person and will keep you updated.

We are excited about a great summer at Living Hope Church.
