A Tuesday Update from Living Hope Church

CATEGORY: News

Freedom! We continue to celebrate our freedom in Christ and a prophetic word that was given over our church earlier this year. Pastor Doug shared a message this past Sunday, on “Freedom from Sin.” We kicked off LOVE WEEK by giving a car away to a deserving single mom and provided several opportunities for LHC to bless our community. There is still time to PAY IT FORWARD by donating blood to the Red Cross Blood Drive this coming Friday at Living Hope Church from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm. You can also PAY IT FORWARD by giving non-perishable food items that will start a food pantry in our local community, on Sunday, July 19th. If you missed this past Sunday, you can watch it here:

LHC YOUTH continues to enjoy discipleship and community together. This Wednesday, they have a fantastic service planned in celebration of LOVE WEEK. They will have an abbreviated service at 7 pm, followed by a fun outdoor movie night with a Food Truck, popcorn, and more. We encourage the youth to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on to watch the movie at the church. All food and fun are FREE, so invite friends (grades 6th-12th) to attend.

We are excited to announce the return of our Young Adults Life Group. They will be meeting this Sunday at 5 pm at the church with Pastor Bill & Erin Cumbee. There will be a time of sharing and engagement with Young Adults over 18 and under 30 something of age. Join them this Sunday at 5 pm in the Café at Living Hope.

Our pastoral search committee continues to progress and is getting closer to having a pastoral candidate for our church to meet. Please be in prayer for this committee, as well as our future pastor and their family. While we currently do not know who they are, God does, so let’s lift them in prayer and trust God for our new leader.

We are trusting God for great days ahead.
