A Tuesday Update from Living Hope Church

CATEGORY: News

This past Sunday, Doug Sheehy, our Sr. Associate Pastor kicked off our fall sermon series, “In Search Of… HOPE”.

2020 to date has been a year filled with doubt, and at moments a sense of hopelessness. We’ve all struggled to understand sudden shifts in our everyday lives, accept new ‘normals’ and cling to hope.

In these struggles, the hope and love Jesus invites us to enter into becomes an essential element in our lives. Knowing where we should put our HOPE is vital, and while situations in our world seem hopeless, when we place our HOPE in Jesus, our perspective becomes aligned with God’s perspective. Hebrews 10:23 encourages us to set our hope in Jesus, stand on His promises, and walk-in His peace.

Pastor Doug closed the service by encouraging every believer to walk in the HOPE of our salvation and share the HOPE found in Jesus with those around us. Those who are still searching for HOPE were invited to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
