A Tuesday Update from Living Hope Church

CATEGORY: News

This past Sunday, Tiffany Simmons, our Executive Pastor, continued our fall sermon series, In Search Of…

Pastor Tiffany’s message In Search Of…COURAGE inspired all of us to be COURAGEOUS in the face of our fears, anxieties, and uncertainties. Joshua 1:9 (NLT) instructs us to be STRONG and COURAGEOUS, not to be afraid or discouraged. However, courage isn’t always easy. But when we stand on the promises found in God’s word, we can find strength, peace, and purpose in every situation.

James 1:5, (NIV) says..’ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.’ When you face the ‘giant’ and need to find the courage to take into battle, God is right there, ready to give you exactly what you need.

Pastor Tiffany closed the service by encouraging us to rely on God’s strength and the courage HE gives. We, as believers, are the LIGHT to others looking for hope, strength, and courage. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE THIS WEEK.
