Bill Cumbee, our Young Adults Pastor, shared a challenging word this past Sunday, in our fall series, In Search Of…
Pastor Bill’s challenge was In Search Of…..A Few Good Men. The modern man seems to be on the decline. Many men live lives of quiet desperation, while God calls us to a life of confidence. Psalms 37:23 reminds us that ‘the steps of a GOOD MAN are ordered of the Lord’. A good man is NOT PERFECT, but he relies on God, Psalms 118: 6-9.
Pastor Bill closed the service by encouraging our men to lead their families and communities in the confidence that comes from a relationship with the Father. The blessing that the Father bestows on good men is for their children and their children’s children.
If you were encouraged by this word, share it with friends and co-workers. Invite them to join you in person or online next Sunday as we continue our “In Search Of…” series.

Dave Gard, the Chairman of the Board of Elders, shared an exciting update on our pastoral search. The pastoral search committee has diligently sought qualified candidates over the past few months. They are excited to announce that a candidate is identified, and plans to present the candidate to the congregation are for early October. Please continue to keep the committee, the candidate, and the selection process in prayer as we move forward.
