The First Sunday of every month, Living Hope Church offers communion. We invite anyone attending in person or joining us online to participate.
WHAT IS COMMUNION?
We believe communion is an intimate remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice when he died on the Cross and took on our sins to give us redemption.
DO I HAVE TO BE ‘SAVED’ TO TAKE COMMUNION?
Jesus died on the Cross to take away our sin, to give us a new life in Him. Taking communion means you have acknowledged His sacrifice on the Cross and are repentant of your sin and have made Him Lord of your heart. We encourage you to make Jesus your Lord and Savior, allowing Him to give you a new start before taking communion.
HOW IS COMMUNION OFFERED?
If attending a communion service in person, you will be able to pick up a sealed cup of juice and wafer. If joining us online, we encourage you to use juice and cracker of your choice. These emblems are symbols of His broken body and blood He shed to cover our sin.
