Sunday, we completed our Re-Acclamation series with a powerful message from our Young Adults pastor Bill Cumbee. We had a wonderful time of worship and praise! If you missed this past Sunday, you can watch it here:

Last Wednesday night, our LHC Youth Ministry returned to church for their first service since March. We are very excited to welcome the youth again and proud to see them safely social distancing while enjoying their times of worship and fun. LHC Youth meets every Wednesday at 7:00 pm at our church. A Livestream of their service through their Instagram page remains available as well.

This Sunday, July 5th, LHC Kids ministry will begin welcoming kids back in phases. The goal is to have all children's classes available by the end of July. Our leadership and volunteers are working diligently to keep everyone safe during the re-opening phases. You can get all the details on LHC Kids returning on our website here as well as on our LHC Kids Facebook page.

We are so excited to see you this Sunday! Our pastoral team will tag-team a special message in the July series, FREEDOM, and our leadership will be sharing an update on the pastor's search and details about Love Week, July 12th- July 18th.

Starting this Sunday, July 5th, you will be able to select the seat of your choice when you arrive. We ask our church to safely social distance and leave two (2) seats open between you and your family and the next person or family in your row. Review the updated LHC Safety Standards on our website here. Please plan to join us at 10:30 am in person and online.

This Sunday night, we have our annual Independence Celebration starting at 6:30 pm. Our elders and deacons will be serving FREE food from Mission BBQ. We have invited the 20th Century Missionary Baptist Church of Gary to celebrate with us, and any monetary donations received throughout the evening will be used to bless this congregation. Please welcome them, and let's celebrate TOGETHER! Our Fireworks show will begin at 9 pm. You will want to have a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on to enjoy the show.
