This Past Sunday - our LHC Youth Pastor, Bryan Hart, brought a thought-provoking word as part of the 'Family Matters' sermon series. Pastor Bryan reminded us that IF OUR HOME IS A PRIORITY FOR THE DEVIL, WE NEED TO MAKE OUR HOME A PRIORITY FOR JESUS! Jesus offers HOPE to all of His children, and it's through His power that we can overcome challenges in our family relationships, our family finances, and our family DNA. The blood of Jesus can change the curse of sin found in our natural DNA as He TRANSFORMS us into an image of His love and grace.
One of our very own senior high students, Jayden Calder, prayed a blessing over our students and families at the close of our service. Jayden prayed that every student would be filled with power to influence their friends, favor to receive knowledge and courage to stand against the darkness. If you missed this message or any from the series this month, you can watch here:
This Wednesday night, at 7:00 pm our LHC Youth will celebrate a new school year with an evening filled with worship, devotion, pizza, and games. If you have questions about getting your student connected, feel free to email Pastor Bryan.
