The Gospel of John pt. 6 - Rick Cochran
March 29, 2026

This message explains that John 1:14 reveals the divine “Word” (Logos)—God’s own wisdom and presence—becoming flesh in Jesus through the incarnation, meaning He is fully God and fully human at once. Rather than avoiding humanity’s brokenness, God entered it to restore it, becoming our sympathetic High Priest, our redeemer under the Law, and our one mediator. The glory once revealed in places like Sinai and the Temple was now seen personally in Christ, especially at the Transfiguration, calling forth worship. Finally, Jesus embodies the fullness of grace and truth together: God’s truth confronts sin, and His grace bears its judgment, proving that grace does not ignore sin but transforms it.
